So I just got fusion 2.0. not soley for the purpose but partly to play AOE III on ESO a microsoft gaming site. I know I know "don't try gaming on fusion!" I seem to have seen that alot. I just had bootcamp beta (because I have tiger) however and constantly had problems with space. I am not sure exactly what the problem is but the game won't seem to run because of the 3d graphics turned on in the display settings. Every time I attempt to play this error message comes up:

"A serious error has occurred inside your computer's OpenGl graphics drivers. Support for accelerated 3D graphics will be disabled until the next time your virtual machine is powered on. If you are running a 3D application in full-screen mode you may need to switch out of it using Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Make sure you are using the latest drivers from your graphics card vendor's web site. If this problem persists, contact VMware for support. Details of this error have been recorded to the virtual machine's log file."

I have tried search for new software online to no avail. but I am not sure how to get "updates from my graphic card vendors site."

Gaming in a VM is not a good idea. It is very flaky and unstable. I would just run windows through bootcamp and play nativly. Its a bit of a pain, but its just a better way to do it.

I would take that to mean that you can't run AOE III in Fusion lol. If you have Tiger, upgrade to Leopard. Get the Mac Box Set: iWork '09, iLife '09, and Leopard all in one package for around $140 I think. Sorry but I think that's the only way you're going to get the game working.
