Gaming on mac, looking for interesting websites, blogs

Hey guys,

I am a long time gamer (thanks to my older brother, I play consoles since as long I have memory)!

However I've mostly played on consoles.

I spend so much time now on my mac that I prefer to play right there! Do you know of cool websites / blog that talk about gaming on mac?

Well Inside Mac Games (google it) has lots of news articles and forums relating directly to mac games.

I would have to suggest our own site too - macgames.co.uk. We've got one of the biggest selections of Mac specific games around, so it might be worth scrolling through our site to see whats available even if you're not from the UK, and don't want to buy!

Lotsa mac gamers at Portingteam.com ... mostly focused on getting Windows (or other platform) games running on OS X without Windows.

On that same Topic, PaulTheTall has tons of Wineskin wrappers available for playing Windows games, as well as videos for each of them.

Why doesn't any bother mentioning Steam? I know they have Windows, they do a decent catalog of Mac games. Some games don't run great, but some of the indie games, are built from the ground up, not just a cheap mac port.

Well the idea behind my question more where are there cool sites talking about and giving news concerning mac games. Not just where to get mac games.
 
:D we all make mistakes

hey, i hear doom 3 is/should be retina ready, so maybe post it up on your website, i hear mixed results of ppl running it, some can't, some can.

Would be nice to have a "Retina supported" games section on a few more mac gaming sites. (i know the mac isn't a gaming monster, but the new rMBP range can hold its own)

Plus ppl always like to test their new toys out, and 3K for a retina MBP....we need more games to showcase this beautiful screen. (even if its small compared to a Bravia)
