Just thought I'd share a clip I found on YouTube of a guy playing HL2 on his MBP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kH5suKHY84

15", Core 2 Duo, 2.33 GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB 5400RPM HD, ATI X1600 w/ 256MB, and Matte Screen. I used Bootcamp 1.1.2 to load Windows XP.

I'm pretty impressed.

Not that I'm much of a gamer, but at least I know I CAN play games if I want to.

Sweet.

what else is interesting is, is with a 2.16 and 128mb vram, I can play the games just as smoother at max res.

I play counter strike all of the time, I use ATItool and bump up the speeds a little bit, but its way smoother then I thought it would ever be.

The first rev of MBPs could run HL2 flawlessly, so this isn't much of a surprise. This video would have been more seful if it showed Oblivion or FEAR framerates.
