Quick question to anyone who can answer it, but I have a macbook pro and want to set up a windows partition essentially for the soul purpose of running 1 or 2 games (no not world of warcraft...dorks), how big should the partition be in order to have to the game run as smoothly as possible? How much free space should there be etc? Any help would be appreciated

Depending on the games you are running and how much ram you have I would say between 20-30GB would be more than sufficient.

Oblivian would take up several gigs just for the game itself to run well. Personally I use 32GB because I am not worried about internal drive space. I have 70GB Free on my Mac OS partition a 60GB portable external drive, and a 320GB FW800 drive at home.

32 Gb is a small price to pay to be able to play my games when I want to. Although I am looking forward to Fusion being able to support DirectX fully - then it will be VM only at that point.

Windows runs best with at least 15% free space, and no less than 10%. Follow these guidelines and just set whatever size you will need to be able to install your games.
