Gaming scores and battery life on Lion GM. How are they scoring?

Has anyone tested out the battery life of the Lion GM? How does it fair compared to Snow Leopard? Does it any better or worse?

How about gaming benchmark scores. I know 10.6.7 was bad for gaming and 10.6.8 was better... is the Lion GM version scores better or worse?

Well they're probably under an NDA(?) that restricts them from posting about the product. Generally on big releases from companies, people who are in either the developer program don't and cannot talk about products before they're released. That's why nobody talks about their iOS 5 beta reviews.

It isn't a finished product. People talking early might ruin possible sales, hence the agreement before hand.

Judging by YOUR logic though, that shouldn't matter since it is still in BETA.

GM is still not the RC. They are STILL unable to talk about the product; they can't say anything that Apple hasn't released publicly.

Informing us that people are breaking the NDA doesn't prove any point whatsoever. I'm just letting you know why nobody is talking. Breaking the NDA and getting caught can, well, put you in jail. Either that or some VERY hefty fines, whatever is drawn out in the contract.

You would be alright inferring that iOS5 would use more battery power anyway, finally pulling in and aggregating notifications along with the many other features is obviously going to have an effect. I, of course, didn't make this assumption though as it would be ignorant to; software is always being refined to be more efficient.

NDAs are a civil matter... In no way is "jail" a risk when breaking one with a corporation.

Other than that, valid. No one wants to be cut off, especially the devs whose livelihoods depend on NOT disclosing. Once Lion is live, you can bet there will be plenty of reports out there.

Ah, so if one were to break they would be mainly faced with, I guess, fines and taken to court? I knew there would be a monetary penalty; both of that was hearsay though, you know how people get when they start talking about the law

Thanks for clarifying though; and yea, developers like developing applications, especially when they'll be the first ones on the market with apps for the new OS. Saying anything negative would be hindering your chances at making money or selling your product.
