Gamma Poll: 1.8 or 2.2

As most people are aware, Snow Leopard is switching to 2.2 Gamma by default.

Just out of interest, 1.8 or 2.2?

Edit: I've always used the system default: 1.8.

First thing I do is set it to 2.2. Looks better to me, less washed out.

2.2 looks much crisper and nicer to view for long periods of time. May depend on the screen i guess.

I have presets for both depending on what I'm doing. 1.8 for text only documents and 2.2 for my graphics work. 2.2 is easier on these old eyes.

Im trying out 2.2 for a while to see if i like it. not sure yet.

EDIT: Question, In SL, can you go back to 1.8?

I set it to what looked best when calibrating the screen. It is more than 2.2.

i do have to say 2.2 is growing on me and i dont notice it as much anymore
