Hi folks. "Late 15 iMac Monterey 12.2.1

Was subscribed monthly to Antares autotune. Quit paying for subscription and GarageBand won't open. (cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.) Move to trash, etc.

I opened security & privacy to attempt to "Allow anyways" No luck.
I'm just trying to use/open GarageBand, but can't get passed warning. Deleting Antares to trash didn't work. Is there a way to turn off the plug-in or redownload GarageBand and not lose previous songs or any advice on how to get app to open?

Thanks for any guidance.

You could try DISABLING Gatekeeper using terminal.
- open terminal
- enter (without quotation marks) "sudo spctl --master-disable"
- hit enter/return
- you will need to enter your password (you WILL NOT see it as you type)
- quit terminal

Now, go to system preferences/security and privacy.
Check towards the bottom.
You should see an "anywhere" option, with the radio button selected.

Let us know how this goes.

Huge THANKS. It worked.
Now, I didn't finalize all my songs so many of my vocals are muted, but that's a fix I think I can figure out.

I appreciate the excellent advice from you Fishrrman. You rock, Thanks
