It's telling me 2.6GB is being used for Garage band that I never use, yet doesn't tell me how to delete that data. Any ideas? Pretty poor to show it with just an "Open Garageband". (unless they will update Garageband to be able to delete these files in the future).

I don't feel comfy with messing inside any hidden folders.

Is Garageband still installed?

I cannot say for sure, but I believe that Garageband installs its audio files in your local library. You can find them here:
Macintosh HD → Library → Application Support → Garageband
Macintosh HD → Audio → Apple Loops

Did you have any joy with this? I have 1.72GB in the Garageband in about my mac and can't seem to find them to reclaim this space.
