I am using Garageband 10.1.6 on MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
Trying to add effects to a vocal track using track automation curves. From the drop down menu in the track header, I am able to apply automation curves for the top four options (volume, pan, echo reverb). But any automation points I add for the 'Smart Controls' options (amount, low, mid, high, ambience, etc...) do not produce any effect in playback. Automation curves are turned on for all tracks.
I have never encountered this problem before, in projects created and recorded using exactly the same set-up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
