Garry's Mod cider?

Hello! I have half life2 for mac using a cider but I want garry's mod as well. I saw one guy on youtube who made it possible but I cant seem to get it to work. I need some help

For garrys mode you can try the following...
Downloaded a stand alone version of garrys mod 10 and a cidered version of half-life source (because it properly cidered the source engine) and switch to garrys mod with half-life source( which you have), you can spawn props and that is about it, because of the lack of weapon holding, tools dont work either.
