Don't you guys feel like the logo for Apple's Gatekeeper and Microsofts Security Essentials look alike?

Although different, they also share some design aspect. For example the angle, the fact it shows a castle like tower, the battlements and it's both meant for security

I think it's funny because in my view Apple always tried to show off how their security is so much different(easier) from windows. And now they have this logo concerning security which looks a lot like Microsoft's.

Yes, but if you'll notice, Gatekeeper has iron bars protecting its openings, while MSE has Windows (pun intended), which are easily broken. Also, MSE has a silly flag, making it more visible to potential threats! :D
