Gboard keyboard on iOS 15 crashing when using voice to text. App haven't been updated since 11 months now. Did Google abandoned Gboard?

does anyone know why Gboard hasn’t been updated for almost a year now? Has google abandon the Gboard keyboard for iOS? When I use voice to text it crashes completely and goes back to stock iOS keyboard. Pretty annoying

Nope, the latest version was released 11 months ago according to app store

Regarding the new ios privacy features, the majority of all google apps have already updated many months ago, so why havent the gboard app been updated yet?
I think theres something else going on than the standard "ios privacy" talk thats been going around
