Universal Gboard voice dictation button missing

The Gboard voice dictation button on the spacebar is missing with new updates of Gboard and Google app.

Yes I've noticed this as well. In the end the solution was to remove the keyboard in settings. Then remove the app after the update and then redownload and install. I did that a day or so ago with that update. Now after today's update the voice icon remained on the keyboard without all this hassle.

Thank you. I've actually found since the update, dictation is only available when Full Access is enabled. Annoying

Oh yeah that as well and indeed now that you say it this was possible without full access before.

Good point. I guess it is surprising that it was available without Full Access switched on.
