Hmm.."A piece of advice: don't order a new iMac through Apple's online store if it's built-to-order." That comment is beginning to make me wonder whether I should cancel my BTO and buy it at a store and upgrade the RAM myself, and be satisfied with a 160GB HD...
Any comments on BTO machines?

Just that RAm is expensive at apple.com. Get it from crucial.com and install it yourself. Good luck

I have to say; when it was first announced, I didn't like the idea of the built-in iSight at all and looking at the pics on the Apple site, I thought it spoiled the design somewhat. I saw one at the London MacExpo last weekend and it *does* look better in real life... the iSight isn't quite as obtrusive as it appears on the photos. But I'd still rather not have that feature! I'm very happy with my Rev B, thanks.

You just have to remember to turn off the iSight camera before you accidentally end up iChating with someone in your skivvies!

I know, I've wasted a good ten minutes reading them. Glad to return to Mac Rumors where people are intellegent
Overall, I think it was a very good article. I had been wanting to know a little bit more about how well the camera works out of that tiny little hole, now I do.
