I have a Mac Pro 5,1 2009 flashed to 2010 with dual 3.33mHz X5680 cpus along with a GTX 670 gpu running El Capitan on a SSD HD. I got different Geekbench scores on different occations. Sometime I get ~28,800 and other times I get ~30,000. Just wondering as to why the vast difference if the scores at different times?

You always use the 64bit mode?

Anyway, sometime the background process (e.g. Time machine, indexing, etc) can tax the CPU quite a bit and cause the lower than normal score.

Always ran in 64 bit mode...nothing is running in the background when Geekbench is running...

With nothing running in the background, my scores are pretty consistent. Though they sometimes vary a bit from OS to OS.
