What's it good for?

9500 on my i7 booted into 64bit mode
8530 in 32bit mode

No disrespect, BUT...

That is 2X faster than the results that my iMac achieved BUT, what are you USING your iMac to do that you realize any REAL World benefit for the extra $1,000?

I don't play games, and I don't think that I would spend an extra $1,000 to play a game. :rolleyes:

Lightroom 2.6 (photo processing and catelog) works great. I have a very fast internet connection ( >45,000 mbs download) so most everything sure seems FAST to me. :cool:

It must be the same thing as having a 400HP car and driving 65 mph (rarely) just seems like the marketing hype has sold some a bill of goods.:eek:

Hope you enjoy your really fast computer, but for me my Honda Civic and imac 3.06 meet my needs just fine.:D
