Hi

I use GeForce GT 630 from MacVidCards on my Mac Pro 5.1, and I know that the support for Catalina will be dropped this year.
In this case, I won't have updates, and I won't be able to use Homebrew, new applications, etc.

I know that a dosdude1 patcher isn't available for Big Sur, and I have some doubts. I read that many users were able to install Big Sur because this card has built-in drivers in Big Sur.

Some users reported issues with this graphic card when they use Open Core like graphical glitches, black screen, and so forth.

Can you share your opinion about the installation process of Big Sur on Mac Pro 5.1 with GeForce GT 630 from MacVidCards?

How well does it work with Big Sur as your daily operating system?

In my opinion, best for using OC, you should flash this card back to factory-rom with GOP. If no factory-rom is available with GOP (=UEFI), it is possible to add it.
To my knowledge, the HP-branded GT630 with blue PCB has GOP in factory-rom.
