As for the above comment: die shrink = power savings. Other than that, its sad but true. A new series number should mean more than just a die shrink and hardware accelerated Blu Ray and H.264 decoding.

i really, really don't care about the new penryn processors. i've read the reviews and most of them are lackluster, offering a 5% performance increase at best. What i care about is a major graphics card upgrade. no underclocked 8600's in the next mbp's, please.
