Nothing new here - but I figure I'll add to the sample pool

Finally got around to throwing a new EVGA NVidea Geforce GTX 750ti (unflashed) in my Mac Pro (4,1 flashed to 5,1). Before I get into the nitty gritty, or if you are not interested in that at all, I'll make a couple of quick observations:
1 The card replaced a Radeon 5870 the new card is a VANILLA GTX 750ti from NewEgg - $135 (model 02G-P4-3761-KR)
2 The GTX 750ti to my simple (aka non-gaming) palate tests and "feels" just as fast as the 5870. I'm sure many will split hairs differently, but that I how it makes me feel, and my wife says that the important thing![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
3 The Power consumption on my Mac is about 20 watts under a light load and about 105 watts less under a heavy load with the GTX 750ti
4 Interestingly when the card seems to experience a light vs a heavy load (based on power consumption) is different between the two cards (additional RAM?, GPU efficiency?). For instance simple benchmarks like XBench and NovaBench made the Radeon jump significantly in power consumption (~+60W) but barely made the Nvidea twitch (~+15W)
Benchmark 5870 GTX750ti
Luxmark Ball 8127 6362
Luxmark Sala 760 822
Valley (settings below) 32.4FPS 31.4FPS
Heaven (settings below) 38.8FPS 39.7FPS
Cinebench 11.5 36.57FPS 30.56FPS
Novabench (graphics) 194 193
XBench (3X video parts) 114.80 118.97
Valley - 1920*108, Quality: High, anti-aliasing: 2X, Full-Screen
Heaven - 1920*108, Quality: Med, anti-aliasing: 2X, Windowed mode
