Hey guys,

I am really thinking about getting the Khomo case:
http://www.amazon.com/KHOMO-iPad-Mini-Retina-Built/dp/B00A8LPVM8

But I am worried it won't help protect against falls at all. Is there a case that has a silicon/gel back (like those cheap iPhone covers) with a smart cover style from? I really want something like that to protect the screen but also want the "gel" back to help protect from drops.

I've seen some gel back covers that are "smart cover" compatible, but then you look at the reviews and they say the covers don't lay flat because the edges of the "gel" cover wrap around the bezel to hold itself on.

So is there a product like I am describing? Another case that would meet my needs? Would the Khomo be ok?

Thanks a lot!

Actually, I came across the Speck Durafolio and seems to be a good fit for me so I ordered it. If I remember I will write back on how it works out.
