I've read quite a bit about the battery life of the Gen 1 AirPods, but less so about the battery life of the case specifically. Has the battery life of the case worsened to the same degree as the battery life of the AirPods? Since the case presumably has a larger battery, and because it may not get run down to 0% as much as the AirPods themselves, I am curious.

I thinks it’s just less noticeable on the case. The case was rated at 24 hrs of battery life so if you lose 20% capacity you're still over 20 hours.

For sure the earbuds are going to die earlier than the case. My first gree gen lasted a little short of three years before the left one died.
