Hi all,
I recently purchased a Late 2015 iMac 27" (Model: A1419 EMC: 2834) and I am interested in installing an SSD using the PCIe interface. I have already purchased an Apple OEM NVMe SSD SSPolaris (Gen5) as it was mentioned on the Beetstech site (https://beetstech.com/blog/apple-proprietary-ssd-ultimate-guide-to-specs-and-upgrades) that this iMac model could accommodate the next-gen NVMe drive.
I am still waiting for the drive to be delivered and am wondering if anyone has used one of these drives in this model and if so, have there been any issues using this drive, such as kernel panics/sleep/hibernate problems, etc.
Thanks.
