General consensus on best things to have to protect Macbook Pros?

I'll be getting a new MBP soon and buying a sleeve. I also noticed this being on sale.

Do these damage the screen? I've heard various comments on how potentially these can cause imprints on the screen itself?

I'm aware that dirt can get in-between hard cases hence not being advisable to get one.

What're the best ways to keep the MBP as much as possible in good condition?

I use a sheet of paper for that. I changed it once in 3 years. You can also buy a keyboard protector if you have greasy hands like me.

Once not in use, the MacBook Pro goes back in its sleeve. It still looks new.
