When jailbraking the iPhone, you use a program which injects it's explot..

I want to know, I want to test around with something, I want to get iPhone's OS and play around with some settings such as - for the last few days I have been trying to code something like "cydia" and it has gone sucessful.

I'm really asking if / how would we flash iPhone OS to get our jailbrake tool on?

Thank you.

edit: just relised this may be a stupid question.

Couple things.

1st, why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? There's Cydia and Installer already in place.

2nd, this is the general iPhone question section of the forum. You probably should post in the hack/programming forum. Also, if you and your friend are "well trained", why don't you just figure out yourself?

I know spelling is not very important to a lot of people, but it does make people more willing to respond.

it's nothing to do about the world, it's just something to do but we're trying to figgure out how we can explot the firmware so our code can go in.

- we also think cydia is boring.

What did you wanna do?

Cant you use the DevTeam's exploit to get to the file structure then add your own apps and hacks in afterwards?
