Generous iPad return windows?

anyone know of any retailers that offer a generous return window for electronics? I’m trying to buy an iPad and want larger than 14 days to return it which Apple, Best Buy etc. all offer. Anyone know any retailers that offer longer than 14 days? Walmart?

Wait until the holidays and then buy one as they have an extended returns period.

Two weeks return period is generous. For any use periods longer than that you might have to look into the holiday period or maybe just rent the equipment you need occasionally.

Best Buy allows me to return things up to 45 days, but it requires your account to be Elite Plus (or 30 days for Elite members). Although I have to say I’ve never needed to use it before. I’ve always made returns within a couple weeks as I know by then if I plan to keep a product.

I was going to mention Best Buy's extended return period. IIRC they're based on your spending levels. BB has always been as good as Apple (in my experience) about accepting returns for basically no reason at all. Costco is the same. Other retailers are not as open-minded, regardless of their policies, and "discussions" about returns can get ugly.

Additionally, memberships may be canceled due to abuse of the Member Privileges and Conditions

Honestly I think the opportunity for abuse is limited. You are risking membership and/or goodwill for extended return windows.

Costco offers like 90-120 days but if you return it you must have purchase and kept 6X more items from the same department or they will limit your return privileges going forward for two years.

Why do you need a longer return window?

A longer return window at BB for example gives you more time for price-matching. If the iPad goes on sale at a competitor for which BB will price match, you get the difference.
