It's just marketing, some people will hear "Genetically engineered for your thumbs" and say "Well honey, it's the best in the market because it Genetically engineered." Thus HTC touch is sold to the clueless masses, who forgot what genetically engineered means.

Maybe they have cut the thumb from the phone. Meaning, that you, instead of having to use your thumb to push the answer key, you just have to think answer in your head. (assuming our brains all emit genetically different electric frequencies).
