Genius bar poor reception dropped iphone

I have such terrible service with my iPhone I can't handle it.

The reason I don't is because I love the functionality and I know that the iphone should get service where it does not, namely when I'm standing next to my brother or my sister-in-law, or my friends at work, etc. etc.

The other thing is I have dropped the iphone a couple time and there are a couple dinged corners and scratches on the back.

My question is will apple fix/replace this iphone?

As long as its not water damaged and still in the one year warranty I see no reason for Apple not to replace/fix it just because it was dropped.

awesome, no water damage just the dry ground.

I have the extended care.

This makes me happy, I am going crazy, having to run out of the house to keep a call connected is absurd. Especially when there are two other iphones in the same room working proper.

dings in the case are a sure sign to apple that the unit was mis-handled and they will probably decline to honor the warranty. You may have to go with a third party ipod/iphone repair company like ipodjuice.com or others. Keep in mind that there also stickers inside the iphone that turn from white to orange if the device gets wet, so if you dropped it in the toilet or pool, they will know.

There is a little disc inside the headphone port. If it's white, you're good. If it's red, they know it got wet. Last time I was at the Genius Bar, they were using those things doctor's use to look into your ears to look into the headphone ports to check for water damage before troubleshooting people's problems.

It has never gotten wet what so ever.

I have dropped it and the corners are dinged up.

A recent development the vibration has stopped yesterday all together and I haven't dropped it in at least a week.

I have the extended care, what are my odds?
