Hey Guys. All the available times at the Genius Bar for today are booked. I don't have ProCare and would like to schedule for tomorrow. The online Concierge is only showing today's times. Do you know when it will show tomorrow's available reservation times?

Thanks

Just head into the store, you can often be asked and placed on a standby list. That way if anyone who is scheduled for an appointment flakes and is a no-show, you get seen.

Just did this myself yesterday. :)

I would never recommend this. While stores will try to accommodate you if you just walk in, generally stores are staffed pretty much around the reservation system. Add in emergencies for ProCare customers and issues that go over the booked time, and a genius bar can literally crumble apart causing poor service for everyone and a lot of stress on the staff. The very least you can do is call in and try to speak to a manager or genius team member to see if they can accommodate you "on paper" if it's an emergency, so they can at least have a heads up of how many people they'll be dealing with that day. When they know you're coming, you generally have a much better experience than if you walk in as a tech is trying to get out on his lunch break and feels the need to rush through things and maybe miss something obvious..

just my .02...

Um, have you been at a Genius bar before, dricci?

It's their store policy.

Walk in.
Go to a store demo Mac.
Click "Concierge" on the desktop.

You are now on the standby wait-list.

Seriously. I would know. I just spent three hours in an Apple store on Wednesday. That is their policy.
