iPod Genius problems anybody?

Who else is getting stuck at Step 2 sending to Apple? The machine is taking forever. I already rebooted once and it's no help.

Sorry, mine worked just fine. I wouldn't be surprised if it were on Apple's end. They haven't had a good track record recently on releasing new features.

I have 29.15 gigs of music. How much do you have?

and does Genius index your movies too?

iTunes 8 Genius stuck on Step 2

Mine timed out overnight. Restarted this morning still stuck at the moment "Waiting for Apple to process information" . I have a very large collection of mp3's but shouldn't that be what Genius was designed for? As I wrote this it jumped to Step 3, Yeah! It now has started "Delivering your Genius results". Has a long way to go on the progress bar. Holding my breath!

I have 47.7GB's of music and the whole process took about 20 minutes.

I'm also getting stuck on Step 2. I have 20.56 GBs of music and have been stuck on step 2 for 48 hours now. Such a shame too, I really wanted to see how this genius thing worked out.

I am having the same problem. I left this morning, 13 hours ago now, and it had been on step 2 for half an hour already. Its still stuck there. I have 59 gigs of music.
