Hi,

I would like to introduce Genius Scan to MacRumors readers.

Genius Scan turns your iPhone into a pocket scanner. It enables you to quickly scan documents on-the-go, send the scans by email or whole documents as PDF.

Genius Scan features smart page detection, perspective correction and image post-processing.

Key features:
- Page frame detection
- Perspective correction
- Scan post-processing
- Send scans as JPG
- Send multiple scans as PDF
- Documents are processed on the phone, not sent to a third-party server

Here are what you might want to use Genius Scan for:
- At the university, to take whiteboards in picture
- On the road, to archive receipts
- To make a copy when you have no photocopier available
- To archive handwritten notes or share them with colleagues
- Save the perfect recipe after cooking

Download it there! It's free for a little while!

We also enjoyed a lot making a screencast (we think it's cool :))

Thanks Mike,

Do not hesitate to give us feedback. We want to improve Genius Scan as much as possible for our users.

Hey Jellis,

We are considering OCR but we don't want of a half-working/slow feature. We will introduce it when have something of good quality.

There are multiple apps in the App Store that already do this....I have one that I bought a while ago and love: JotNot

I had another app that did pretty much the same but it was $5 or $6 !
Thumbs up !
