I think it's real. but you should always meet in person when dealing with Craigslist.

Yer, I saw that, I kinda guessed refurb but thanks for confirming.

My only issue was about the pics of the item, it has the little camera logo at the bottom right hand corner as though it had been copied from somewhere? But I don't know much about it. Maybe somone on here does?

He has replyed via email saying paypal is an option, is this a good idea?

From my knowledge paypal is safe becuse I can get the money back if he doesen't send.

Be very sure to go meet him in a public place and make sure the iMac actually works and that he doesn't switch boxes on you when you're not looking.

Thanks, was thinking of taking up a delivery option. I.E I pay via paypal and he sends the item via UPS 24 Hour. Any risk there?

This is craigslist, not eBay, so you need to do it locally.
