iPhoto will support Places, but I was wondering if it will have the ability to actually modify the photo metadata to add GPS co-ordinates (since my camera doesn't support that feature)?
The idea is that if you have your iPad with you while taking pictures, then when you transfer your pictures to it, it can geo-tag them based on the time-stamp in the picture since the iPad has assisted GPS and so it knows where you were at that time.
There are devices that do this (e.g. look for Sony GPS-CS3KA GPS Digital Imaging Accessory on Amazon), but it would be cool if iPhoto on iPad supported this.
If it doesn't, then there's an App idea ...
