How do i see where the photos were taken?

I can see in my iphoto library that there is a Long/lat for pics taken with my iphone, but i don't see where i can view where there were snapped on a map.

any help is appreciated.

btw- i'm using iphoto 6 (and i assume that's why i can't view the photos)

There are a few options...

- on the iPhone, there are app store apps like iMarkMySpot and Photo Map

- online, I know if you put them in Flickr, you can pretty easily see them on a map.

- on your Mac, there're are also some apps specifically for this -- I'm sure there are free ones, but the example I found is non-free (GeoPhoto)

Take a look at PlaceTagger if you are an iPhoto '09 user. It will also export data for other applications. First rate!

For the Mac, I have played with various software packages. I like GPSPhotoLinker (donationware) , PhotoLinker (USD 49.95) and HoudahGeo (USD 30). I haven't decided on which one I like best (yet). Each has pros and cons. I am leaning towards PhotoLinker.

There is also Geophoto, but it isn't what I need, so I haven't tried it out.

I suggest you try out a few and see which best suites your needs / workflow.
