We have the US ads here, the only difference is that they say apple.co.nz instead of apple.com

New Zealand isn't overly English, so why would they have UK-centric ads compared to the much more global US-versions..?

Can you imagine a localized-NZ version of the ads, wow that'd be good :p

I don't understand Japanese but the iMovie one was still funny :)
Can you explain what was happening in the second half of the Office one?

Link?

I am learning... can pick up some words, but the majority of my translation is done through context.

My favorite one is this one, in which PC asks mac to list the steps to do something on a Mac (as near as I can tell.) Mac has to really think hard for a third step, and then PC asks for step four. "No step four, Mac's done" (or something like that)
PC gets upset. Mac quickly comes up with step four: "Get coffee"
PC is happy. :D

I also like this.

Mac asks what's up with PC. Pc responds that he is wearing armor to stop spyware. Mac's don't need to worry about that/no viruses.
Something is said that makes PC say that he is ready for any virus attack...
Mac looks around... "there's one"
The rest needs no translation. :)

The UK ones are awful. Most of the problem is the casting.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mitchell and Webb, Peep show is one of the best comedies around at the moment. But they are totally wrong for the Mac vs PC ads. For a start, people dislike Mitchell's (Mac) character (in peep show, is creepy and quite nasty) and sympathise with Webb's (PC) character, which translates . A bit lacking in research there from Apple..
