Get an iPhone now or wait to see what happens at the end of January?

I would personally wait till the 26th, however it probably will be an 8Gb 3GS introduction IMO, however its always a bad idea to buy new Apple products when an 'event' is scheduled.

dude if u buy it now, ur getting a better deal, u get more GBs, and a new iphone is not coming out till june.

if you're gonna wait, wait until june/july
if we're EXTREMELY EXTREMELY lucky, we'll get some new software features in january. There is not gonna be a brand new iPhone coming out in january

The only thing I can see it being is the introduction of an 8 GB 3GS. Otherwise...just wait.

Grunt it out until July if you can. Why? I have the feeling this will be a very big upgrade and the iPhone will be borrowing a lot of tech from the tablet. Live off a prepaid phone if need be.

The event at the end of January, like everyone else is saying, is more than likely going to be an 8GB 3GS introduction, but hopefully the announcement in June / July will be something big, so if you can I'd wait until then .
