Hi everyone,

I have been messing with this for a couple weeks now- I have exhausted every search I can think of.

I have 1TB (Time Machine) and a 2TB (media content) hard drives connected to my 4th generation Airport Extreme Base Station via a USB hub.

Is there any way to get the media off the 2TB drive directly to the TV? Right now I am streaming to it with PS3 Media Server, but it would be very nice not having to go through the MBP.

I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360 - anyway to get either of these (or an old Apple TV or something) to see the airport extreme hard disks, somehow?

Any help would be severely appreciated.

Only if you jailbreak it.

Jailbreak an ATV2? and install XBMC or ? Thanks for the reply!

Yes it's the best and sadly only option. Either way, it's well worth the time and money.

I've jailbroken 4 already and everybody loves them.

Here are a few links to get you started:

You'll want to get this app (worth the money)

And here's a great breakdown on installing Add Ons to XBMC:

It may take some trial and error but you'll learn in the process (as well as get tons of grey hairs... if you have any left), but still worth all the trouble.

Good luck!
