hi, have a macbook air m1, and have a sabrent nvme ssd enclosure and wd blue sn550 nvme ssd 1tb, having paragon ntfs for mac, erase the disk and I got ntfs format, my tv lg c8 oled only support ntfs disks, now the big problem, downloading some mkv files, works fine on computer harddrive, when I transfer mkv files to external disk some files get corrupt, 4 out of 10 maybe, no error no disconnect under transfer. anyone having the same problem or a solution?

How do you know they're corrupt? Can you be more specific as to what is happening?
In any case, you can tell if the file is being copied perfectly at bit level by running a checksum on the file you believe to be corrupt and the corresponding non corrupt file on your internal drive by opening terminal and typing "openssl sha256", hitting space, then drag the file onto the terminal window, then hit enter. The checksum should match if the files are the same at bit level. You would type "openssl sha256 /path/to/file/on/EXTERNAL/drive" then compare that to "openssl sha256 /path/to/file/on/INTERNAL/drive".
If the checksum matches then there is no corruption and likely something else is going on. To be honest it sounds like you're trying to play files from the drive on the TV which I promise is going to be inconsistent at best. I had a Samsung TV that I did that with before switching to an Apple TV connected to a FreeNas box, and for some reason the TV wouldn't play any file that had multiple audio streams or any subtitles embedded. I had to strip the extra content and all audio and re-encode 2 channel audio. My guess is your issue is similar, though I could obviously be wrong.

after transfer to external I can't open some mkt files either on the MacBook or the tv but some mkt files work fine, I believed the files get corrupted, sorry for my bad English, I am from sweden=) I'm gonna try openssl in a moment, thanks

Most probably a problem with paragon ntfs. Are you using the M1 version? 15.8.105 ?
I would try to copy the files to an external drive formatted hfs+ or apfs to see if the same error occurs. It may be a bug with paragon ntfs
yes thanks for all tips, have tried formatted apfs and seems to work just fine now, have tried couple of transfer both single file and 3 files at once and no problem yet? I have order a belkin usb c to hdmi adapter to connect to the tv( tv only support ntfs harddrives)paragon should be aware about this problems and fix this soon as possible, should get money back for the licens?
I can confirm that the problem is with Paragon NTFS for Mac. It definitely corrupted files on my system and it is completely reproducible. About 2-5% of a large group of JPEG files became corrupted during the NTFS write operation and I am still in the middle of cleaning up the mess it made before I knew it was happening. In troubleshooting, no corruption happens to the same files copied to an APFS drive, a simple copy is all it takes to cause it to happen, and it happens every time when I copy a large number of files. I found one other person on a different site reporting the same with PDF files, and you are having problems with MKV files, so it may be more general than just a single file type. The Paragon web site says it is ready for Apple Silicon, but it clearly is not. Given how easy it is to reproduce this, I am somewhat surprised that they didn't find this before releasing it to the public. I have removed it from my M1 Mac Mini and will just have to use exFAT until or unless I find a reliable solution.
okej! thank you for your reply and info, I have send a mail to paragon about the issue but they dont understand the problem, they will have screenshot and more information about the problem, i ignore that for now, have uninstall paragon and paid for liftime license on iboysoft ntfs for mac about 50dollar, and it really works 100%, no issues at all!
If Paragon makes file system software and don't understand the issue of file corruption, I think you have pretty big problems.
Thanks, I’ll check out iboysoft. I’m a little gun shy, having just spent many hours repairing the damage that Paragon did, but it would be extremely useful to be able to both read and write on an NTFS drive.
