Anyone know of any apps like senuti that work for the iPhone? I tried senuti and it didn't work for the iPhone.

Yes.

Download Jailbreak and iPhoneInterface.

Run Jailbreak to crack the iPhone, then open iPhoneInterface and you should be able to getfile /var/root/Library/Media/F* or something like that. Once you have all the files, put them in iTunes and it will rename the files to what they were before.

Nothing doing...

i tried this method and all it did was create a directory (?) called F*. I'm no expert on this thing. When I initiate the command it says fileref: 1. That's it. If something was copied, I don't know where it is and it was way too quick either way. Any further info would be great. if not is there a how to do for interface? Thanks

Hello.

On iPods the music gets stored in directories called example (F00, F01, F02 and so on) So it sounds like the iPhone directory structure is either the same or similar.

I have this problem too. My HD failed and I really have to get all my music off my iPhone. I tried the Jailbreak and iPodinterface thing and they won't work!

Any other way of doing it?! PLlease help!!

Hello.

After searching around the iPhone's directories, I couldn't find any "F" directories. There is a DCIM in Media and when I initiated a "getfile", it popped into my phonedmg directory and slowly began to get larger and larger (I stopped it at around 47MB). This may be the iPhone's version of the Media however it's saved as a single file in the phonedmg directory. If it is, I'm not sure what to do with it.

I read on another thread that "ipod access" works for ipods and iphones...and it is for macs:apple: and pcs... so check it out you should be able to get your music off your iphone with that..

iPhone 1.1.4 Music File Location

var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music/

Just get iFuntastic. download the whole music folder.

Yep, that's where they all are for me on 1.1.4 as well, each mp3 file, they have their names changed but their properties are intact, so if you copy them back to your PC and drag them across to iTunes it will work its magic and rename them properly.
