Hi all,

Very new here. Wondering if anyone can help.

I have an old iphone that had lots of photos on it that meant alot to me, at some point they were deleted.

Im trying to recover them but not having any luck with the traditional iphone photo recovery softwares out there. Ive tried IExplorer, Iphone Mounter and Wondershare.

I've had some luck in the past recovering deleted data from an external hard drive using Stella Phoenix data recovery, and was hoping to use this softwar on the iphone as it seems much better at recovering.

Only thing is the iphone wont read as a normal hard drive when its plugged in via USB.

Does anyone know how i can get my iphone to essentially function as a normal external hard drive? Im quite happy to pull apart the iphone if need be, its an old phone so i dont even care if it ends up bricked.

Any insight to a solution would be much appreciated!
