I keep getting a warning when trying to update my iPhoneSE to IOS 11.4.1 via iTunes...

"There are purchased items on iPhone that have not been transferred to your iTunes library".

I've authorized the PC, transferred purchases several times [ File > Devices > Transfer purchases...]. Seems it doesn't ever take effect. I have the latest iTunes (12.8.0.150) and IOS 11.2.6 on my iPhone SE. Been holding off on the update due to the report of lousy battery performance of 11.4. I hear 11.4.1 is better.

I usually update the IOS thru OTA, but have read recently it's better to do this thru iTunes. What gives? Should I just keep updating thru OTA?

Do you have any pirated music on the phone? erm a friend of mine had the same issue, turns out a song was linked to another Itunes account. when they tried to update it wouldn't work without that error message (naughty friend)
