Is there a separate line for the non-iPad 3G people, buying iPods, Macs, WiFi iPads? I'm going to get my friend to get one on 1st May and would like to find out.

Thanks.

I don't know the specifics of course, but when they closed for an hour to release Leopard they only dealt with Leopard purchases until the line was done. Noone making other purchases was in a line.

How was it like during the iPad launch in April though, could you just walk it to buy other things? Anyway I think that the line will hopefully be shorter, and I'll get him to go on Sunday just in case.

Thanks

On May 1 (tomorrow) there will be no lines. Just walk in and buy what you want (provided its in stock).

Tonight's launch, however, you'll have to get in line to buy anything in the store. There will be one line for all.
