I'm thinking about going into the Apple shop and buying applecare for my iPad air 2, however, I am currently jailbroken.

I guess the best thing to do would be to backup, restore, get applecare and re-jailbreak?

Is there anyway I can backup all my jailbreak apps and settings so I can get my iPad back exactly the way it is now?

Or something similar to a Nandroid on Android?

OK, I will do it as soon as I'm home.

I guess if I press the restore option in iTunes just now, it will pull down 8.1.3? I am downloading the ipsw for 8.1.2, which button do I need to hold on my Mac while clicking restore to enable me to choose my ipsw?

Cheers

I added Apple Care to my jailbroken iPhone 6+ without any problems. You may be able to do it online by running the dig tool they send you.. or do it in store. Try to add Apple Care first... can't hurt. if they say no, go home restore, then take if back to Apple and add Apple Care.

I have already unjailbroken and am going into the shop today. I'm still in 8.1.2 so I can re-jailbreak if I want.

At this point, I'm not even sure if I am going to jailbreak again. The only 2 things I really want is retroarch and force good fit.

I can't even look at an iPad that's not jailbroken. I'm so used to my 7x6 icon layout and iCons that aren't the size of crackers that when I see a stock iPad I wonder how people put up with it. Makes me feel dumb to need such huge icons.
