getting .avi files on my iPhone??

what program are you guys using to get .avi files onto your iphones??? everything I've tried show far is painfully slow in converting the file to mpeg4....any good recommendations??? or any recommendations for that matter??

If you have visualhub, that works great (you do have pay unless you go the "other" route), but that program works great for me.

Quicktime Pro will let you export ..... I do the "Export to iPod"... works great.
