I've been using the iOS 9 public betas as they rolled in and assumed when the final version was released next week I'd automatically get that update. The 9.1 beta 1 update has now popped up though. I figured I'd have to re-register and install a new profile for the 9.1 public betas. How does one get back on to the general release track?

What I did was uninstall the public beta profile, restart, then update from public beta 3 to the GM. I did this before 9.1 public beta 1 hit so I didn't have to delete any OTA updates that were downloaded.

I didn't restart on my iPad before updating and after the update it immediately tried to reinstall public beta 3. I restored from a backup but Settings.app still has a badge next to it. No updates are downloading though, so I figure it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.

You have two options. Uninstall the profile and download the GM file and option+ check for update install it or uninstall the profile and wait till Wednesday and download the update when it is released to the public. Regardless I would uninstall the profile and immediately restart your device.
