Hello all
have installed OS X Yosemite on both my mac mini (2012) and Macbook Pro retina 2013. Everything good on the later one...good for a beta of course
as for the mac mini..im experiencing some serious issues regarding some panic attacks that I'm getting.

The message that i am getting after the crash in the console is the following

kernel[0]: AppleSMC::handleSMCResult ERROR in smcReadKeyMMIO. TA1S kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89)

also, sometimes when i browse via safari some images are shown in green color or distorted.i hope its not a graphic card issue..
if someone could help??

That isn't enough of the kernel panic log to be helpful. Could you post the log in its entirety, except for the serial number and other identifying bits.

Oh sorry
Can you please let me know on how to do that?
Can u do that through the Console? And if so how?

Look in this folder for a crash report from the date and time of the crash.

Code:
/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

great thanks
this is what i got

That last loaded kext is usually a big clue. My guess would be an incompatibility these two drivers.

may i ask why you ended up on these two?
also what are these kexts?i mean what software or programs are relating to?

Because the system crashed when that last kext (driver) com.apple.filesystems.msdosfs loaded up and that kext relates to file access, then you have two different third party kexts there that also relate to file/disk access. So hence my guess.

The attotech one looks like it is from a SCSI driver here.

I believe that second one is related to Drobo. Do you have a Drobo?

yes i do have a drobo
for seven years now :D

not sure about the driver that you first mentioned maybe its still compatible with OS X Yosemite?

Assuming those drivers are the problem, at this point you have two options. Just delete them and live without the service they provide, or wait for the vendor to update to Yosemite compatible drivers.

ΟΚ as for the second one..which is the drib
what about the first one?the com.attotech.driver.ATTOiSCSI?

so far still without a kernel panic!!

Are you using any SCSI drives? That looks like a third party driver for SCSI drives. If not, just remove it.

It should be in this folder.

Code:
/System/Library/Extensions/
