Getting Error When Trying to Update iMovie

I just got a new Mac the other day and for whatever reason when I go to update iMovie in the Mac App Store I am given this error:

"Update Unavailable with This Apple ID
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
