I have a first-gen iPad that has some files I'd like to export. Specifically, they are a couple of videos downloaded to the MiTube app: https://gizmodo.com/mitube-an-app-for-downloading-youtube-videos-sneaks-i-5604641

The app doesn't have a share button or similar feature for sending the videos over Bluetooth to my Mac Studio or uploading them to a cloud. I can connect it to my Studio using the USB cable that came with the iPad's charger, but there doesn't appear to be a way to see files and copy/export them.

Any help is appreciated.

Are the videos still on YouTube? If so then just download them again using Downie or some other similar Mac application.

If the app supports file sharing with Finder (the app would have to support this) then you can get them by following these instruction: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/119585

Otherwise you might have to be looking at using some kind of specialist app like iMazing to take a backup and extract the files from the backup (and this will only work if the app includes the downloaded videos in the backup; apps are not meant to allow easily reproducible files to be backed up in order to reduce backup sizes but ultimately this is up to the developer).

Thanks for the suggestions. No, the videos are no longer on YT or anywhere else, which is why I'm hoping I can offload them somehow.
