Recently my Apple TV 2 boots me out of a movie. Happens to multiple movies.

Had been pretty reliable until my iMac Hard Drive died - had to rebuild, all OS and software up to date now and running well.

After the rebuild, I was getting movie hangs as the buffer loaded slowly. Found that ATV2 was trying to connect via Airplay instead of my wireless network.

Turned iMac Airplay off and changed ATV config to use my home wireless - this helped buffer the movie faster and problem appeared to be resolved. Still some intermittent kickouts or spinning gear - wait-wait at times.

Changed to a static IP address on the ATV and set to never sleep.

Still getting random kickouts, then it may let me in again or say that iTunes sharing servcie is not started, even though it is - typically have to restart ATV and or iMac and it may get thru an entire movie - or not.

What are some things to try?
