Getting internet sharing to work

Today, I tried getting my iBook online through my Mac mini using Internet sharing, and it didn't work. I know it worked before, but with a different router, so I know it's not an issue with either of the computers. I was just wondering what kind of settings I would change on the router to get it to work. Thanks for any advice in advance.
 
Can you provide some more information? You mention a router. What make and model is it? Also are you trying to do this via a wired or wireless connection, and do you have third party firewall software running on either Mac?

The router is a Linksys BEFSR41. The connection I am trying to make is to share the wired internet access that my Mac mini has through Airport. I am not running any third-party software.
