Happy iPhone Eve!
I am receiving my new iPhone 15 Pro Natural Titanium tomorrow! Super excited as this is the longest I have gone between upgrades. I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. It has been a few years and I can’t quite remember and was hoping to get some help. Is it necessary for me to upgrade my iPhone 12PM to iOS 17 prior to shipping it back or when setting up my new iPhone? I was thinking that I could potentially get a message saying I cannot transfer info from my old phone to the new phone until they both are on the same OS.
I wanted the process to be seamless when getting my new phone up and running. It will spoil some of the fun if when I turn on the new phone only to receive a message saying that the iOS’ need to be the same and I‘d have to end up waiting for my 12PM to update before I can even start using the iPhone 15 Pro. I’ve been waiting to update my phone to iOS 17 as I think it would be more fun to have both a new phone experience + enjoying checking out the new iOS with its new features and all. Kinda lame, but just thought it would be fun to enjoy a new phone and OS at the same time.
Thanks so much for the help!!
